About Dr. Tony Astro
Tony Astro was born and raised in the Philippines. At an early age of 15 until he was 18, he worked as bill collector, Chinese factory worker, store clerk, food servant. He worked full time as school assistant to pay for his tuition at the College of Commerce (Business) where he majored in Economics at the University of Santo Tomas. After graduation he worked as bakery assistant in a Chinese Deli then as a bank teller at American Express Travel in Manila. He later joined the Navy as an Airman Apprentice for a year and served for over 23 years working in Human Resources and Educational Services and Chief Career Counselor in 3 Aircraft Carrier, 2 Construction Battalions, 4 Naval Station. While in the Navy he gained well rounded experience in marketing, human resources, financial, customer service, education, training, record filing and later became a career counselor supervisor for over 15 years managing 2,000 personnel.
Tony became a full-time Marketing Director and Co-Founder of Mvoss Creation (Promotional Products), CareerWise (Career Development Service Provider) & FusionMeet (Cultural Business Networking) and created over 10 Social Media Pages that gathered over 35,000 subscribers. He was a Board of Director in various local business, non-profit organization.
He completed his Masters in Business Organization Management from the University of Laverne and Doctor of Philosophy in Human Services majoring in Counseling from Capella University.
He enjoys traveling (he's been in major cities of 5 continents while in the Navy and as pleasure) and lived in Connecticut, Puerto Rico, Spain, UK, Japan, California & now settled in Virginia Beach with his wife Myla, son Sam and Shiba-Inu mutt. His Corgi-mutt for almost 9 years Daisy passed away this Valentine's day (2019) after curating over 300 video music from his Daily Instagram Dogrunner & Branding Random Show.

Dr. Astro is a Career Services Provider, formerly called a Career Development Facilitator, is a person who has completed the Facilitating Career Development Training Program (formerly called the Career Development Facilitator Training Program) and works in any career development setting or who incorporates career development information or skills in their work with students, adults, clients, employees, or the public. A Career Services Provider has received in-depth training in the areas of career development in the form of up to 120+ class/instructional hours, provided by a nationally trained and qualified instructor.
